The trip was sponsored by<a href=\"https:\/\/travelnevada.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"> Nevada Tourism<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitrenotahoe.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Reno\/Tahoe Tourism<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/visitcarsonvalley.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Carson Valley<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.visitvirginiacitynv.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Virginia City Tourism<\/a> and we had a great time visiting this part of Nevada.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\">One of the places we had the opportunity to visit was the National Automobile Museum in Reno Nevada. <\/span><\/h2>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"National Automobile Museum Reno Nevada\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/UMBwOop2_lE?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 20px;\">Opened in 1989, the museum got it\u2019s beginning after the death of Bill Harrah in 1978. Harrah was one of Nevada\u2019s gaming pioneers and founder of Harrah\u2019s Hotels and Casinos. During his lifetime Harrah accumulated one of the worlds largest and most historically important collection of automobiles, at one point numbering over 1,400. After a public uproar by the State and car lovers across the nation, Holiday Inn decided to donate 175 automobiles and a research library to the future museum. I found it interesting that there was almost a revered hush among everyone as if they were in church. I guarantee that a visit to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.automuseum.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">National Automobile Museum <\/a>will bring back memories and probably invoke just a little bit of jealousy. Make sure you allocate at least two hours to enjoy the museum.
