I recently went on a guy\u2019s trip<\/a> to Las Colinas in Irving Texas<\/a> an we couldn\u2019t have picked a better location to stay than the Dallas Marriott at Las Colinas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Newly renovated, The Dallas Marriott at Las Colinas<\/a> is one of only two hotels that sit directly on the lake and is right in the middle of all the action. Located almost directly across the street from the Toyota Music Factory and all their venues, pubs and restaurants, the Marriott is not only convenient but offers a great value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Dallas<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The Marriott has spacious rooms, some with balconies overlooking the lake. There is a gym and indoor pool area located on the first floor and an outside seating area for eating or just relaxing next to the water<\/a>. The bar is located next to the restaurant in an open-air type concept. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and also has some delicious bar food.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the second floor they have a huge ballroom that can be\ndivided into several configurations to suit all types of gatherings up to 1,000\npeople from corporate meetings, cocktail gatherings and weddings. They took\ncare of the little touches like park on the roof of the covered parking lot and\ntake your stuff right into the meeting halls or exit the second floor area and\naccess stairs outside to the outdoor seating next to the lake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are a three meeting rooms on the second floor that can\nbe used for more private type meetings and a private dining room at the\nrestaurant that can also be used for meetings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Suite<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

There are three suites in the hotel which are basically 2 rooms with a connecting large living, dining room in the middle. The suites have either a full or half bath in the living room area and kitchenette also. The suites are not advertised on the website and if you want to book one you have to call the hotel directly. The suites are perfect for a large group where you can order room service or have a place for your group to congregate without having to go sit in the lobby or bar area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is also a concierge club room for Platinum Elite\nstatus members that is open Monday through Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you want to check out the rest of the area around Lake Carolyn just walk out the back and take the pathway around the lake or head across the street to the Toyota Music Factory. The Marriott is also close to several golf courses if you want to take the guys out for a day on the course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anytime you choose a hotel to stay at location has got to be at the top of the list and the Marriott at Las Colinas definitely meets that need, it is located just 10 miles from DFW airport.  If you are headed to Las Colinas for a guy\u2019s weekend, need a wedding venue, traveling on business or just want to take a break and get away,<\/a> I would highly recommend staying at The Marriott Dallas Las Colinas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
